Nowhere To Hide has been back in the studio laying down tracks for a new ep, as yet to titled, and I’m ridiculously happy with the way it’s all sounding! Not only is the band on top form but we’re lucky to be working with Martin Smith at his studio in East Grinstead.
Martin started the studio in late 1987 after a term in the Electric Light Orchestra, following a career as a producer, musician and writer spanning the previous two decades and he’s worked with artists including Franz Ferdinand, Gabriella Cilmi, Girls Aloud, Woody Woodmansey, Tina Charles and many others. In short, he really knows his stuff.
So where have got to? Well, we’ve recorded four tracks – Nowhere To Hide, Wrong Again, This Far and A Broad Thought From Home – all written by me. We’ve even got the mixing finished. Now the tracks are to go off for mastering before we can finally get them pressed to CD and all the other ways of getting them heard.
